The Ultra Prism card set was released in Japan on December 8, 2017. It is the thirteenth main expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). It follows the initial release of the Sun & Moon—Ultra Prism expansion in Japan, and it is the fifth expansion in the Sun & Moon series.
Ultra Prism offers over 130 new cards, including the new Prism Star cards. These cards offer incredibly powerful strategic options, and they feature shining artwork that repels any darkness. Legendary and ultra-powerful Pokémon, such as Rayquaza-GX and Pikachu-GX, are also featured in Ultra Prism. The set also introduces seven new Pokémon-GX, as well as many other special cards.
