Plasma Freeze

The Pokémon Trading Card Game: Plasma Freeze is the 8th main expansion of the Pokemon Trading Card Game. This set was released in 2013 and consists of 152 cards plus 3 EX cards and 4 Full Art EX cards, as well as 45 secret rare cards. This set continued the Plasma series of sets with the main focus of the set being the legendary Pokemon KYUREM, along with its forms. As this set continues the story of Team Plasma, the team's Leader, N, plays a major role in this set. The set also introduces several Energy cards to give players more possibilities for card combos. This set also includes the Dual-type Pokemon, introduced in the Dragons Exalted set.

The Pokémon Trading Card Game: Plasma Freeze features a variety of new card abilities, including Possession, which allows Pokémon to "possess" an opponent's Pokémon, gaining the benefit of the opponent's attack. This set also includes the new Meteo-power Ability, which allows your opponent to choose between different effects when the Ability is used. Additionally, the set also contains 7 all new Pokémon-EX, including Kyurem EX and its three forms.
