About Generations

Released on February 22, 2016, Generations is part of the XY series, and has 84 total cards.

Pokémon Generations is a card set based on the classic video game series of the same name. The set includes 180 cards, featuring various illustrations and characters from the video games. It includes three theme decks- Sky Guardian, Fury From the Deep, and Aqua Glider. This set also includes 10 special energy cards, as well as several secret rare cards. The cards feature various types of Pokémon- Grass, Fire, Water, Psychic, Metal, and Dark, as well as dual-type Pokémon. Some of the cards in the set are reprints from the older card sets, such as the original Base Set. The set also includes some new cards, such as evolution cards that allow players to evolve their Pokémon into stronger forms. The cards also feature holographic and reverse holo foiling styles. Each card also comes with a symbol at the bottom of the card representing the type of Pokémon featured. Players can also use the set to build their deck and battle against other players. With a mix of Pokémon from the classic video games, this set is sure to be a hit with fans of the series.
