The Pokemon TCG: DP Trainer Kit – Manaphy & Lucario is a two-player kit released in 2009. This set includes exclusive cards from the Diamond and Pearl expansion, as well as unique trainer cards not found in any other set. The kit allows new players to quickly learn how to play the Pokémon TCG and experience the fun of trading card games.

Included in the set is a Manaphy & Lucario Collector's Album to store your cards in and two pre-constructed 31-card decks featuring Shining Manaphy and Lucario. The decks are tailored to help players learn the basics of the game using an easy to understand rules leaflet and a how-to-play DVD. The DVD also features a video game demo of Pokémon Platinum, allowing players to experience gameplay similar to their favorite video game.

The pack also features two 60-card Trainer Decks, filled with powerful cards to enhance a player's strategy. Both decks contain the same cards, so players can easily utilize their deck building skills to customize their strategy. The Trainer Decks give players the tools they need to succeed, including Energy cards and evolved forms of the featured Pokémon. The Manaphy deck features energy cards to help players get the most out of the Water type Manaphy, while the Lucario deck features Fighting type Energy cards to make the most out of Lucario.

Finally, the kit includes four DP Trainer Kit booster packs. These booster packs contain cards from the Diamond and Pearl expansion, featuring a variety of Pokémon from the Sinnoh Region. They allow players to further customize and expand their decks, bringing the total cards in the set to 197 and featuring full-art cards among them. Players can expand their collection of Pokémon from the Sinnoh region, as well as build a powerful arsenal of trainers and energy to defeat their opponents.
