XY Trainer Kit: Sylveon & Noivern

The XY Trainer Kit: Sylveon & Noivern set is a two-player game released by The Pokemon Company International in 2014. It includes two 30-card decks with exclusive cards. The set includes cards of the two Pokemon symbols - Sylveon, the eeveelution Fairy-type Pokémon, and Noivern, the Flying and Dragon-type Pokémon. It also includes two small non-randomized booster packs and two mini-porports.

The two decks focus on taking advantage of the Pokemon’s strengths and weaknesses, based on the type of attack they can use. The Sylveon deck focuses on increasing Fairy-type Pokemon’s damage output, while the Noivern deck focuses on exploiting weaknesses by dealing more damage with Flying- and Dragon-type Pokemon. Both of the decks also have access to Trainer cards that allow for various strategies such as healing, energizing and strengthening Pokemon.

The set also includes two special energy cards – Aromatisse and Assault Vest – that can only be found in the set. They both provide special bonuses when used. This set also marks the first time that Double Colorless Energy was depicted as a physical card.

In addition to the 30 cards in each deck, the XY Trainer Kit: Sylveon & Noivern set also features 2 XY Trainer Kit promotional cards, which feature a holographic art of either Sylveon or Noivern. The set also includes a set of black-and-white, full-art basic Energy cards, as well as a code card that can be used to unlock virtual cards online.
