POP Series 3

Pokémon POP! Series 3 is the third in the Pokémon POP! series of collectible trading card sets released in late 2009. It contains all 98 cards from the Japanese XY-P Promotional series released earlier in the year, and is based on the fourth generation of the Pokémon video game series. It features 45 rare common cards, 32 rare holo cards and 21 rare ultra-rare holo cards.

The cards feature original artwork by Ryo Ueda, and feature characters from the fourth generation of Pokémon games, as well as all-new illustrations made specifically for this set. Many of the cards are reprints of cards from other sets, but with exclusive POP! artwork. This set also includes several cards with alternate artwork, including alternate card frames.

Pokémon POP! Series 3 is the first POP! series to contain the VMAX Pokémon cards, which have three times the HP and special VMAX moves. The rearing VMAX artwork on the holographic cards make this set a standout in the POP! series. The set features 12 VMAX cards of various Pokémon from the fourth generation of Pokémon games, including Pikachu, Eevee, Lucario, and Glaceon.

Pokémon POP! Series 3 also has several special cards, including cards with embossed foil textures, non-holographic full art cards, and cards with special foil borders.
