Pokemon POP Series 6 is a Japanese trading card game (TCG) set produced by Pokemon Company in 2004. It contains 66 multi-colored cards, all of which feature characters and creatures from the popular Pokemon franchise. Popular Pokemon featured in the set include Ho-Oh, Lugia, and Rayquaza, plus the Water-type Magikarp and Ground-type Groudon. The set also includes a variety of Trainer, Supporter, and Energy cards.
The set introduces the concept of Delta Species, in which certain Pokemon cards can be combined with corresponding Energy cards to create new versions of existing Pokemon. For example, Delta Species versions of Charizard, Machamp, and Blastoise were introduced in the set. The set also contains "dual-type" cards, which feature two types of either Pokemon, Energy, or Trainer cards. This set was the first to feature many promotional card designs, including an Eat-it-All promo card and a Roar of Time Ex Delta Species card.
