The Arceus set is a set of Pokemon Trading Card Game cards centered around the Legendary Pokémon Arceus. The set was released in November 2009, as the twelfth set of the Pokemon Trading Card Game. The set includes 60 cards in total, with a focus on Arceus and other Legendary Pokemon. The set includes cards from the series Diamond & Pearl and Platinum.
The set features 10 rare cards, 8 uncommon cards, 30 common cards, and 12 foil cards. Among the rare cards are six EX cards, including Arceus ex and Dialga ex. Cinematic Poke-Powers are featured on five cards in the set, as well as the popular Poke-Bodies mechanic. Unique to this set is the fact that Arceus ex has Delta Species Energy. Furthermore, the set features a special Overlay variant set, including three cards with an alternate design and coloration.
