
The Pokemon Trading Card Game Legendary Collection is a collection of 144 cards from the original and classic Pokemon Trading Card Game Base and Jungle Sets. Launched in June 2000, the Legendary Collection includes six holographic rare cards and nine rare cards, as well as an exclusive Jumbo Charmander card. All Legendary Collection cards are printed with a gold border and feature holographic foil technology.
The nine rare cards in the set include Blastoise, Machamp, Charizard, Snorlax, Eevee, Vaporeon, Flareon, Jolteon and Dragonite. Blastoise is a tank-like Pokemon with a large shell that can shoot jets of water, while Machamp is a humanoid creature with four powerful arms that can punch, throw and lift very heavy objects. Charizard is a large, fiery dragon with wings and can breathe hot flames. Snorlax is a sleeping giant with a huge appetite that is said to eat vast amounts of food in one sitting. Eevee is a small and cuddly creature with the ability to evolve into seven different Pokemon. Vaporeon, Flareon and Jolteon are the evolutions of Eevee, with Vaporeon being a water-type Pokemon, Flareon being a fire-type Pokemon and Jolteon being an electric-type Pokemon. Dragonite is an incredibly powerful dragon with wings.
